Day 1 – Hometown/ Vancouver / Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon, Vietnam) (via Hong Kong) (HX081  12:10PM/4:50PM+1 )

Fly with West Jet to Vancouver, and connect with Hong Kong Airlines for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City via Hong Kong.

Day 2 – Arrive at Ho Chi Minh City ( HX538  11:05PM /12:50AM +1)

Cross the International Date Line and arrive in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam), formerly known as Saigon, the largest city of Vietnam. Your local guide will greet you before heading to the hotel.

Day 3 – Ho Chi Minh City ~ Ho Chi Minh City

Enjoy a free morning before meeting in the hotel lobby to go out for lunch. Later, take a tour of Saigon city. Visit the Saigon River, Opera House, Town Hall, Notre Dame Cathedral and Reunification Palace.  ( B / L / SD )

Day 4 – Ho Chi Minh City ~ Mytho ( Mekong Delta ) ~ Ho Chi Minh City

Visit the Thien Hau Pagoda and drive to My Tho, the heart of the Mekong Delta, famous for its vast rice fields and beautiful landscapes. Sail along Mekong River to Phoenix Island where local handicrafts and coconut sweets are produced.  Enjoy fresh seasonal fruits and a Traditional Music and Song Performance. Take a ride on a Horse Carriage to a local house for a taste of homemade honey-tea, then hop on a rowing boat and sail through the canals to observe daily life along the river banks. Take a leisure walk on Turtle Island. Special Fish Lunch to be served. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Dinner by your own arrangement.  ( B / L )

Day 5 – Ho Chi Minh City ~ Cu Chi Tunnel ~ Saigon / Hanoi (By Air)

Drive to the Cu Chi district to explore Cu Chi’s Underground Tunnels. Transfer to the airport after lunch for your flight to Hanoi and head to the hotel upon arrival. Dinner by your own arrangement.  ( B / L )

Day 6 – Hanoi

Take a tour of the Temple of Literature and Ho Chi Minh Complex. Enjoy a Cooking Class. Continue after lunch to the Vietnam History Museum, Hanoi Opera House, and take a Rickshaw tour around the Old Quarter. Stop at Pho Co café for a drink and take photos at this local family house (an overview of Hoan Kiem Lake and the Old Quarter from the rooftop of the house). Enjoy a Water Puppetry Show tonight. Day 7 – Hanoi ~ Halong Bay  ( By Tour Bus )

Drive to Halong Bay, a UNESCO World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty, with more than 1,500 limestone islets rising from the sea. Upon arrival, board the cruise boat, and enjoy a welcome drink. Lunch on the boat. Cruise to Bai Tu Long Bay and explore the well-hidden Thien Canh Son Cave, Hon Co Island. Enjoy a set dinner on the cruise boat.  ( B / L / D )

Day 8 – Halong Bay ~ Hanoi ( By Tour Bus )

Join a Tai Chi session on the sundeck at dawn, then visit Vung Vieng Fishing Village by rowing boat. International Buffer Lunch served on the boat. Return to Hanoi. Tonight, a Vietnam Farewell Dinner will be served.  ( B / SL / SD )

Day 9 – Hanoi ( Free Day )

Enjoy a free day in Hanoi, or join an optional tour of the city. Lunch and dinner by your own arrangement.  (B)

Day 10 – Hanoi / Hong Kong ( HX529  5:55PM / 8:55PM )

Free morning. Transfer to Hanoi Airport in the afternoon, and take the Hong Kong Airlines flight to Hong Kong.  Transfer to Hotel upon arrival. Lunch and dinner by your own arrangement.  ( B )

Day 11 – Hong Kong (Half Day Tour)

Take a half-day tour to Victoria Peak by cable car, visit Stanley Market, Repulse Bay and Aberdeen Fishing Village. Discover this dynamic city on your own in the afternoon.  Lunch and dinner by your own arrangement. ( B )

Day 12 – Hong Kong / Vancouver ( HX080 12:30PM /10:10 AM )

After breakfast, transfer to Hong Kong International Airport and depart for Canada. You will arrive home on the same day.  ( B )
