Day 1 – Hometown /  Beijing

Day 2 – Arriving Beijing

Arrive in Beijing, be greeted by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Relax or explore Beijing at your leisure.

Day 3 – Beijing

You will be exploring the heart of Beijing after breakfast. The trip starts from Tian’anmen Square, the largest public square in the world – the square and its surrounding areas are home to some of China’s most historic monuments and government edifices. Then take a tour to the Forbidden City, the largest existing ancient architectural complex in China. In the afternoon, you will visit Summer Palace – an enchanting panorama of lake, landscape, pagodas and pavilions. This evening, you will enjoy a special Peking Duck Dinner.  ( B /L / SD )

Day 4 – Beijing

Have an inspiring day tour to the world famous Great Wall (Juyong Pass), which winds dragon-like across northern China. Enjoy time to walk along its ramparts and absorb the breathtaking views. Day 5 – Beijing

Start the day with a visit to the beautiful Temple of Heaven. Then, take a Rickshaw Tour around the ancient alleyways of Beijing’s Hutong – one of Beijing’s 700-year-old traditional cottage neighborhoods. Visit a family in one of the “Quadrangles”. Day 6 – Beijing / Yichang ~ Yangtze Cruise

Day 7 – Yangtze River Cruise

Take a shore excursion at Sandouping takes you to “Three Gorges Dam”, the biggest hydroelectric dam in the world. Return to the ship and sail through the Three Gorges Dam Shiplocks and the first gorge – Xiling Gorge, the longest and the most hazardous one in the famous “Three Gorges”. Day 8 – Yangtze River Cruise

Begin your day with an excursion to Shennong Stream, which takes you almost 20 miles of cascading waterfalls, steep cliffs, karst caves, three-colored springs. Return to the cruise ship again and set sail through the second gorge – Wu Gorge, known for its odd, misty rock formations and its backdrop of soaring mountains. Later in the afternoon, you will pass the third gorge – Qutang Gorge, the shortest but the most dramatic Gorges with ancient relics scattered along its steep cliffs. Day 9 – Yangtze River Cruise

After breakfast, take a shore excursion to visit the Shibaozhai Temple, a gem of Chinese Architecture located in Zhong County, at the south bank of the Yangtze River. Enjoy Captain’s Farewell Banquet followed by a Gathering Party at night. ( B / L / SD )

Day 10 – Arrive Chongqing

After breakfast, disembark the cruise at Chongqing. You will have a city tour in Chongqing including Chongqing Zoo for lovely Pandas and Huguang Guild Hall, a 200-year old architectural complex. Day 11 – Chongqing / Xi’an

Day 12 – Xi’an

Another unforgettable full day tour is visiting the excavation of more than 6,000 Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses and Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses Reproduction Factory on the way. Day 13 – Xi’an / Guilin

Day 14 – Guilin ~ Yangshuo – Guilin

Day 15 – Guilin / Shanghai ~ Suzhou

Day 16 – Suzhou ~ Zhujiajiao (Water Village) ~ Suzhou

Day 17 – Suzhou ~ Shanghai

Return to Shanghai, China’s most populous city and seaport. You tour is to visit Shanghai Museum and People’s Square. You will be amazed at the beauty of historical architecture while walking along the “Bund”. Then tour Yuyuan Bazaar, Pudong Development Zone and take a close look at the famous Oriental Pearl TV Tower. Also visit the famous Nanjing Road and a tea house.
